Celebrate Black History Month and “the roots of all American music” with Monroe County’s award-winning annual blues music concert, The Big Gig! This year’s show is a musical journey through a variety of blues styles that influenced American roots music in the 1950s, 1960s, and beyond.

This year, the legendary Blind Boys of Alabama, the longest running musical group in America and winner of six Grammy Awards, take the stage!
