Celebrate Earth Day and take part in Citizen Science Month with real science! Join thousands nationwide at this in-person livestream event that helps a NASA-supported project track wildlife for conservation.
We are teaming back up with SciStarter for Acts of Science: Connected, a special Citizen Science Month event where communities everywhere take action together. We’ll take part in the Snapshot Wisconsin Earth Day Animal Spot-a-thon, helping scientists identify animals captured on trail cameras across Wisconsin. Your observations support wildlife monitoring, conservation, and land management—no prior experience needed!
This project is part of the America250 initiative and the Bedford branch library's We the People: 250 series.
Best for ages 13 and older. No prior experience or specialized equipment needed.
Optional: Complete the attached take home flyer prior to the event (this isn't required as we will help with this at the event as well)
Light refreshments will be served.
