Event Details

The Monroe County Health Department in partnership with the Bedford Branch Library presents a Health Education series for students in grades 3-12. The topics covered and grade level restrictions are detailed below. The purpose of this series is to address, educate, and share open dialogue on the topics presented. Families are welcome and encouraged to join. 

Wednesday 10/8/25-Germs, Health and Nutrition grades 3-6

Thursday 10/9-Nutrition grades 7-12

Wednesday 10/15-Tobacco and Vaping grades 4-6

Thursday 10/16-Stress Management grades 7-12, Stress Management grades 3-6

Wednesday 10/22-Maturation and Hygiene grades 5-6 *The Monroe County Health Department standard presentation utilizes the 2016 Procter & Gamble "Always Changing" video and curriculum. 

Thursday 10/23-Substance Use and the Brain grades 9-12, Substance Use and the Brain grades 6-8

Wednesday 10/29-Marijuana Prevention grades 6-8, Marijuana Prevention grades 9-12

Thursday 10/30 Social Media Safety grades 7-12, Social Media Safety grades 3-6
