All readers are welcome to join us as we read and discuss Historical Fiction books. Copies of the books can be picked up at the library. Discussions will be on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm. This month we will be discussing Flight of the Sparrow by Amy Belding Brown.
Summary: Presents a fictionalized account of the life of Mary Rowlandson, a Puritan woman living in the Massachusetts Bay Colony who was captured by Native Americans in 1675 and who developed empathy for her captors before she was released eight months later.
