Introduction to Identity Theft Workshop

April is Financial Literacy Month! The Bedford Branch library is partnering with First Merchants Bank in Lambertville, MI to bring you the financial wellness workshop "Introduction to Identity Theft." In this course, First Merchants banking manager Ryan, along with workplace representative Matt, will teach you how to identify and avoid common online threats and scams. You will also practice assessing your risk for identity theft or fraud. Ryan will coach you on how to protect your identity and sensitive documents, highlight your rights as a consumer, and guide you through reporting and recovering from fraud or identity theft.
