Program Description

Event Details

Come discover galaxies with us! Visit the Bedford branch library for a chance to do real NASA science!

We’ll dive into cutting-edge space science—and YOU can participate! We’re joining @SciStarter and the scientist behind the @NASAScience citizen science project Dark Energy Explorers to discover how we can identify new galaxies and black holes.

Do NASA Science LIVE! is an occasional series of virtual events featuring NASA citizen science projects that need your help. During the events, we'll learn about a project, hear from a project scientist, and do the project together. Your questions will be answered in real-time, too! All you need is your curiosity!

This project counts toward America Gives, an America250 initiative, and is part of the Bedford branch library's We the People: 250 series.

Best for ages 13 and older. No prior experience or specialized equipment needed.

Light refreshments will be served.
