Michigan Notable Author Visit: RS Deeren

This year, the Michigan Notable Books Author Tour is coming to Bedford Branch Library! We will be hosting RS Deeren, author of Enough to Lose, for an engaging and enlightening presentation where he will discuss his creative process and how rural Michigan has inspired his work.  

Each year, authors are selected whose works exemplify the diverse experiences and literary voices of Michigan. In 2024, 13 authors were chosen to visit 50 locations around the state to discuss their works.  Bedford Library is honored to have been selected to host RS Deeren.

This program is made possible through the generosity of the Library of Michigan, the Library of Michigan Foundation, and the Michigan Humanities, which is an affiliate of the National Endowment of the Humanities.  We were able to host Mr. Deeren with the amazing support of our Friends of the Bedford Library, who help us put on so many wonderful events for our patrons.
