Event Details

This workshop is designed to help parents and caregivers give young children a jumpstart on reading by helping them develop valuable pre-reading skills.  It will help the participants understand the importance of reading on grade level by 3rd grade, the components of emergent literacy, and learn simple ways to help children acquire these skills.  Dinner will be provided for the family at 6:00 and childcare is available during the presentation.
