Perennial Plant Swap

Late summer is the perfect time to divide and transplant perennials! Dividing the root systems after the bloom cycle and well before the dormant period gives transplants enough time to establish roots before the winter, which makes them more likely to produce flowers the very next spring. 

So bring your divided perennials to the library on Saturday, September 13th, and swap them for new varieties! Participants are asked to please label your plants with variety and color (if known) before the swap.

Interested in giving away but not taking on new plants? Donations are always welcomed and appreciated!

The Perennial Plant Swap will take place in the North Parking Lot, unless inclement weather moves us indoors to the Community Room.
