Event Details
Watch the solar eclipse with us! On April 8th, Monroe will be in the path of a solar eclipse at a 99.8% totality. The Eclipse will begin at 1:57 pm, be at its maximum at 3:13 pm, and end at 4:27 pm. There will be a viewing party on the east library lawn. If you'd prefer, you can watch it inside the programming room via broadcasts.
We'll have free eclipse glasses (while supplies last) and some family activities and crafts to pass the time. Feel free to bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the phenomenon.
