We'll enjoy summer and sunshine as we enjoy dancing, outdoor activities, and a little yoga on the library's lawn.  Please bring a towel or blanket for the ground.  In case of bad weather, we will move inside.

Join us for a morning of playing and socializing. We will be offering a time for young children and their caregiver to interact through play, songs, books and art. Each session will end with a gathering time.

Get out and stretch your way to feeling better mentally and physically. Chair yoga is a low impact way to fitness and everyone can participate regardless of physical or health limitations! Jessica Bannon will be your instructor.

Join us for a colorful adventure each week as we explore the world through books, songs, and hands-on fun! From rainbows to oceans, we’ll celebrate the many ways color brightens our lives with stories, songs, projects, and playtime.

This program is open to those 18 years of age and under at no cost. 

To ensure that we have enough meals, please register.  

Join us all summer for a delicious meal for the kids and a fun activity afterwards! Mondays will be arts and crafts.

Beat the summer heat each Monday afternoon with a fun, family movie.  Feel free to bring a blanket for the floor and a snack to enjoy.

Puzzles and pictures is an open time of creativity at the library!  We'll have a variety of jigsaw puzzles for all levels and we'll have other puzzling challenges, such as tangrams.

“Yoga with Diane”  A FREE, one hour community Yoga class.  Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, this class is designed for all  levels, all ages.

Every week looks a little different- there will be activities such as crafting, painting, and gaming to name a few! This is a place to study, have a snack, visit with friends, and unwind.

Unwind, create, and find inner peace with Mindful Art, a calming and creative program designed to nurture your mind and spirit.

Monroe County 4-H will present a one-hour backyard flock educational program. Teen leaders and volunteers from the 4-H Small Animal Program will cover choosing the right birds, biosecurity, care, as well as Q&A.

Parent Seminar: Baby Sign is a 30-minute introduction for parents and caregivers.  Attendees will learn the basics of why and how to use baby sign.  Introductory signs will be demonstrated and practiced.

Regularly scheduled meeting of the Township's Library Advisory Board. The purpose of this Board is to serve in an advisory capacity to the Township Board regarding the township's branch library.

Meetings are held the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the community room of the Carleton Branch Library. Copies of the books are available at the library. New members are always welcome.
