Adults are welcome to join us on the lower level of the Dundee Branch Library on Friday, November 21, at 5:30 p.m. to make a painted, lighted pallet sign to brighten the holidays. 

All materials will be supplied.

Come and make some crafts that you can give to your favorite teacher. We will also read books and play games. This program is geared towards school-aged children. 

Come learn how to use a Cricut machine and make your own holiday project to take home! All materials provided.  Basic computer knowledge required.

If you are out and about during the Hometown Holiday celebration make sure to stop in to the library to decorate a cookie and make a fun craft.  

Spend the morning playing with STICKERS!!!

A variety of activities will be available involving stickers! Dot stickers, sticker collages, sticker pictures and more! I promise your kiddo will have LOADS of STICKER FUN!! 

The Circle of Friends Quilt Group share their love of quilting on the last Monday of each month, beginning at noon. All are welcome to join this group of active quilters whose skills range from beginner to advanced.

After School Adventures happens each Monday at the library!  Stop by after school for a variety of fun activities: building challenges, mindfulness practice, puzzles and art projects.  Each week will be something different! 

Looking for something new to do?

Join us on the 4th Wednesday of the month from 4pm – 6pm at the Vivian Branch Library.

We will explore your hidden talents with paint!

Procraftinate 

Procraftinate: avoidance of adult responsibilities to partake in art and craft projects.

Join us to make a craft and put off that other thing you need to get done, just a little longer.  

Ida Library Crankers, a machine sock knitting group, meets once a month in the Ida Library Community Room. Everyone is welcome. Bring your sock knitting machine or come and learn about sock knitting with machines.

Come out and have some fun making a vintage inspired Christmas ornament with us. All materials will be provided and registration is required for planning purposes.   

Come to the library every first Tuesday of the month, October through May, for a fun activity!  We'll have an artsy project as well as a building activity or challenge.

As the holiday season and holiday lights appear, get a better look at things with your own cushion holiday binoculars.  We will craft our set out of special tubing and hand decorate them to your own taste.

Learn the basics of crocheting with materials provided or bring your own project to work on and enjoy the company of other crafty crochet club members!

The 12 Days of Christmas at the Ellis Library & Reference Center

On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me: 

A HOLIDAY TREE CRAFT FOR TEENS 

(13 -19 years of age only) 

If you are a tween or teen who likes to craft, join us each month for a crafting night.  Come hang out with friends, enjoy some snacks, and test your creativity with a different project each month.

Do you love to color? Join us for some coloring fun! Bring your pencils, paint, markers or diamond painting and a fun attitude.

Bring your projects such as knitting, cross-stitch, or crochet work and be a part of our group! Join us on the first and third Thursday of every month to share your projects and a "common thread" with others!

Join us on the First Thursday of the month to paint a project or a picture. This is a self-guided program. Please have an idea of a project you would like to paint.

This class is designed for beginning painters. I'm a self-taught artist excited to share what I've learned with you!

Join us for some old fashioned holiday fun and our 21st year offering this program! We will have all the gingerbread house forms baked and ready for you to decorate.
