In addition to reading books, the Challenge Book Club includes numerous other fun activities.  The majority of which are related to literature in one way or another.

An Afternoon Read

As in past years, we will continue to meet on the 4th Monday of the month @ 1 pm.

STEM Station (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING & MATH) is a fun program that ties books and science together.  Listen to stories and then participate in fun, hands-on science and engineering activities. 

The Maybee Branch Book Club meets the last Monday of the month at 7pm.  New members are always welcome, stop in and get your copy of this months selection. 

Meetings are held the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the community room of the Carleton Branch Library. Copies of the books are available at the library. New members are always welcome.

Join our cozy Tuesday night book club. We read all genres and meet the third Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm. Our 2025 dates and selections are:

The Dundee Inspirational Book Club meets the third Wednesday of every month at 2 p.m. on the lower level of the library. 

Everyone is welcome, and books are available at the library.

Join us on the last Tuesday of the Month as we discuss non-fiction books.  New members always welcome.  This month we will be discussing Raising the Hunley by Brian Hicks.

If you like to read thought-provoking non-fiction books, join us for Just the Facts book club on the last Wednesday of each month at 11:00 am.

Join a book club for rebellious readers! We will discuss a different banned or challenged book each month. Readers ages 16 and up are welcome!

Meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month, 5:30-6:30pm

Classic Book Club 2025 

We typically meet on the last Wednesday of every other month at 6:30. The month of November is on the 19th because of Thanksgiving. 

The Ellis Fanta-Sci book club is the only Fantasy and Science Fiction book club in the Monroe County Library System! 

We will discuss We Solve Murders by Richard Osman

Homeschool Book Club is designed for preschool and elementary homeschool students.  Each month we'll learn about a new author, then do follow-up activities.

Join us for snacks, drinks, and lively discussion at this casual book club. We will meet at Quimby's in Lambertville. Please contact Jessica at the library with any questions.
