Your 4-7-year-old is invited to explore, create, and have a blast at our Curious Kids LAB! 

We’ll work on communication and reading skills, explore a STEAM topic, art experiences, and enjoy fun, hands-on extension activities. 

The Dundee Inspirational Book Club meets the third Wednesday of every month at 2 p.m. on the lower level of the library. 

Everyone is welcome, and books are available at the library.

1st grad book club at the Bedford Branch is a FUN place to talk with friends about books we love, from picture books to readers, early chapter books to activity kits and more! 

Join us for snacks and books! Bring a book to read silently, have a chat with the group, and then read some more! Don't know what to read- no worries we can help!

An Afternoon Read

As in past years, we will continue to meet on the 4th Monday of the month @ 1 pm.

I Survived - Youth Book Club!

(Book Club for youth ages 8-12 years of age)

Join us for discussion of the book select for that months read! After a short discussion , we will have an activity relating to the book.

It's time to embark on a new reading quest with this adult book club that focuses on the popular romantasy genre.

The Maybee Branch Book Club meets on the last Monday of the month at 7pm.  New members are always welcome, stop in, and get your copy of this month's selection. 

Meetings are held the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the community room of the Carleton Branch Library. Copies of the books are available at the library. New members are always welcome.

Homeschool children ages 7-12 are invited to participate.  

Titles to be decided.  

Please only register for the first week.  It will get you signed up for the entire session.  

Join us on the last Tuesday of the Month as we discuss non-fiction books.  New members always welcome.  This month we will be discussing Desi Arnaz: The Man Who Invented Television by Todd S Purdum.

If you like to read thought-provoking non-fiction books, join us for Just the Facts book club on the last Wednesday of each month at 11:00 am. This year we are all reading the same title each month with our one exception of an Author Read.

Join a book club for rebellious readers! We will discuss a different banned or challenged book each month. Readers ages 16 and up are welcome!

Meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month, 5:30-6:30pm

Classic Book Club 2026 

Meetings are every other month on the last Wednesday except for November, which will be on the third Wednesday. 

The Ellis Fanta-Sci book club is the only Fantasy and Science Fiction book club in the Monroe County Library System! 

Come join this fun group of readers. This month we are discussing The Fate of Mercy Alban by Wendy Webb.
