Get out and stretch your way to feeling better mentally and physically. Chair yoga is a low impact way to fitness and everyone can participate regardless of physical or health limitations! Jessica Bannon will be your instructor.

Registration is not required for storytimes or playgroups at the South Rockwood Branch! Come when you can!

Drop in for a fun, interactive way to build literacy skills! Children will have the opportunity to practice their out-loud reading skills, while hanging out with real rabbits.

This is a soft movement class designed for those who have wanted to try Tai Chi and those who understand the principle.  Each class will be divided into three parts including warm up, senior form, and yang form. This is a very beneficial

Fun Friday is a special Storytime experience for toddlers and preschoolers!  Each week, we'll read a book and do fun extension activities based on the book.  Each month will have a different focus:

Preschool and elementary homeschool students are invited to this special monthly Homeschool Storytime.  We'll do some fun warm-up activities, enjoy a story together, learn about a new genre of book each month, and try some activities together

The “Tail Waggin’ Tutors” program is brought to you by Therapy Dogs International. This program encourages children to read by providing a non-judgmental listener and furry friend to read to.

The Circle of Friends Quilt Group share their love of quilting on the last Monday of each month, beginning at noon. All are welcome to join this group of active quilters whose skills range from beginner to advanced.

The Carleton Branch Library and Airport Community Schools is honored to host Michigan Poet Laureate Nandi Comer.

D & D is a fantasy roleplaying game that is like a combination of a board game and storytelling. Dungeon Masters lead their group through experiences in worlds of heroic fantasy.

The Maybee Branch Book Club meets the last Monday of the month at 7pm.  New members are always welcome, stop in and get your copy of this months selection. 

Meetings are held the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the community room of the Carleton Branch Library. Copies of the books are available at the library. New members are always welcome.

We are a history book club that focuses on the American Civil War. We currently are reading the book, Destruction and Reconstruction by Richard Taylor. We will meet on this day to discuss the book.
