Book Trekkers: A Walking Book Club

NOTE: Book Trekkers will meet at ANSTED PARK in Temperance, MI for the May meeting.

Nature-loving readers with a passion for the outdoors, unite! This year-round, all-weather, nature-themed book club is for the adventurous reader who enjoys walking outdoors. We will start our monthly meetings with a 45–60-minute walk outside and then settle in for a hearty book discussion. This program will run in ALL types of weather (except severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, or any inclement weather that causes the library to close). Proper clothing, outerwear and footwear is a must for your comfort and safety (think layers, hats, rain jackets, gloves, snow pants, boots, sunscreen, bug spray, water bottles, snacks, etc.)  

Rather than read the same book each month, our book club will center around books about the great outdoors with everyone reading a nature-themed book of their choice.
