Event Details

Is your scrap fabric bin overflowing?  Would you like to use up some of those scraps in a fun colorful quilt?  Learn how to make this Crumb Strip quilt with your scraps and 2 ½ yards of background fabric.  This quilt measures 56 x 56”.

Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings in October, the 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.

Bring your sewing machine, sewing supplies, rotary cutter, mat, and rulers.  A 2 ½” wide ruler would be very helpful but any ruler will work that is at least 2 ½” x 10 1/2”.  Foundation paper helps keep your crumb strips from stretching.  We will discuss various types of foundation materials.  Instructor is Joanne Northey.  For any additional information, contact Joanne at 734-771-8304 or email quiltsofthenorth@gmail.com.  Space is limited.  Register online or by calling the Carleton Branch Library.
