Do you like cooking with herbs, and gardening? We would love for you to join our herb group that meets on the third Wednesday of each month. Anyone is welcome! 

Attention homeschoolers! Have you been wanting to participate in a science fair but don't know where to start? Look no further as the Bedford branch is hosting its first homeschool science fair event for students in grades 4-12.

Come enjoy some delightful stories, upbeat music and dances to keep your preschooler grooving.  We’ll wrap up with a craft or playtime to extend learning through play.

We will have carts of books and movies to check out. Deliveries take place once a month.

This is a soft movement class designed for those who have wanted to try Tai Chi and those who understand the principle. This class is for everyone.

Open enrollment for Medicare. Please bring your photo ID, Medicare card, all insurance cards, and a list of your prescriptions.  An hour and a half appointment is for one person.

The Dundee Inspirational Book Club meets the third Wednesday of every month at 2 p.m. on the lower level of the library. 

Everyone is welcome, and books are available at the library.

Do you love the Harry Potter books? Do you watch the movies every time they are on T.V.? Then Dumbledore's Army is the club for you. This is a Harry Potter fan club that will meet on the third Wednesday of each month.

The Sodexo Meal program provides free healthy snacks for kids and teens. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

Wednesdays are all about sharpening minds and having fun! From 3:30 - 4:00, we’ll help elementary students with homework, dinner is served at 4:00 followed by a session of card and board games that challenge and entertain!

Every week looks a little different- there will be activities such as crafting, painting, and gaming to name a few! This is a place to study, have a snack, visit with friends, and unwind.

We'll provide the Lego's and other building blocks. You provide the imagination. There will also be some STEM activities during this time. This is an open program so come anytime from 10 - 1 pm and have fun building and getting creative.

Join us for Friends of the Newport Branch Library  meeting.  New members are always welcome and encourage to attend.

Join a book club for rebellious readers! We will discuss a different banned or challenged book each month. Readers ages 16 and up are welcome!

Meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month, 5:30-6:30pm

Classic Book Club 2025 

We typically meet on the last Wednesday of every other month at 6:30. The month of November is on the 19th because of Thanksgiving. 

Baby Group is for children under 2 and an accompanying caregiver.  We'll have a short Storytime section with some music and books, we'll do some interactive or sensory activities, then have some open playtime for social interaction.

Join us for a morning of playing and socializing. We will be offering a time for young children and their caregiver to interact through play, songs, books and art. Each session will end with a gathering time.
