The Newport Branch Library Book Club will meet the second Wednesday of the month at 2:00 pm. All meetings are open to all readers. This month's book is, Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt.

Historical Fiction Book Club Titles for 2024

Young historians, families, kids, and writers are invited to meet Laura A. Stewart, the author of, "Building the Bridge School: A Story about Michigan’s First Public School.

Teams compete to see who can finish a puzzle first. Every team is given the same  500 piece puzzle. Each team can be up to four people. Only register the team captain and then put the names of team members in the notes.

All members are invited to attend. New members are always welcome. Members plan fundraising events that benefit the library and the community of users. They share programming and event ideas at the meetings.

November Budget Workshop meeting of the Monroe County Library System's Board of Trustees to be held at the Mary K. Daume Library Service Center: 840 S. Roessler St. Monroe, Michigan.

Have you been curious about those complicated-looking Cricut cutting machines? Come to this class to learn about Cricuts and the basics of the Design Space software.  Practice by making a bookmark you can take home!
