Do you like to craft but have too many distractions at home? Bring your projects to the Frenchtown-Dixie Library to work on them. Don't have a current project?

The Circle of Friends Quilt Group share their love of quilting on the last Monday of each month, beginning at noon. All are welcome to join this group of active quilters whose skills range from beginner to advanced.

An Afternoon Read

Swing by the South Rockwood Library to make these adorable pebble penguins. This project is for adults 18 years and older. This craft must be done here at the library. All supplies will be provided!

Are you a Dissectologist? If you are, this program might be just right for you! We are having our first Jigsaw Puzzle Wars at the Frenchtown-Dixie Library.

We will be making Bubble Wrap Flower paintings. We will be using acrylic paint.

Chef Keegan from Lakehouse Bakery is back again to lecture on artisan breads! Some of the breads that will be discussed include; ciabatta, baguette, and sourdough. Learn the tips, tricks and science behind the dough!

Regularly scheduled meeting of the Township's Library Advisory Board. The purpose of this Board is to serve in an advisory capacity to the Township Board regarding the township's branch library.

We will be making Bubble Wrap Flower paintings. We will be using acrylic paint

Come and try your hand at  watercolor painting. Very basic techniques, color mixing and exploring paper and brushes. 

Class will be hands on. Supplies provided for evening use.

Classic Book Club 2025 

We typically meet on the last Wednesday of every other month at 6:30. The month of November is on the 19th because of Thanksgiving. 

D&D is a fantasy roleplaying game that is like a combination of a board game and storytelling. Dungeon Masters lead their group through experiences in worlds of heroic fantasy.

The Maybee Branch Book Club meets the last Monday of the month at 7pm.  New members are always welcome, stop in and get your copy of this months selection. 

Meetings are held the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the community room of the Carleton Branch Library. Copies of the books are available at the library. New members are always welcome.

Love Young Adult Literature? So do we. Come hang out and talk YA lit with us. Discussions will be on the last Monday of the month at 7:00 pm via Zoom. 

The Ellis Fanta-Sci book club is the only Fantasy and Science Fiction book club in the Monroe County Library System!
