Week Calendar

Decorate a holiday themed picture frame. Afterwards, we will have your child's picture taken and printed off at the library or feel free to bring your own picture. 

Join us each week as we explore the word of art in children's books. We'll learn about different artists and how they make the art that they do. Then, we'll try out their techniques for ourselves!

Join us each week for a sampling of learning and literacy fun for those 3-6 years old.

SESSION #1

Drop in and decorate a holiday themed tumbler.

Do you like to craft but have too many distractions at home? Bring your projects to the Frenchtown-Dixie Library to work on them. Don't have a current project?

The Circle of Friends Quilt Group share their love of quilting on the last Monday of each month, beginning at noon. All are welcome to join this group of active quilters whose skills range from beginner to advanced.

Puzzles and pictures is an open time of creativity at the library!  We'll have a variety of puzzles from easy baby block puzzles to floor puzzles and even adult puzzles available.

All tween and teens are welcome to come be creative with us after school each Tuesday! Come and draw with us. No registration required.

After School Adventures takes place every Monday that school is in session.  This registration window is for January and February.

STEM Station (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING & MATH) is a fun program that ties books and science together.  Listen to stories and then participate in fun, hands-on science and engineering activities. 

Get Ready for the new Dog Man movie with an epic BINGO game and some fun interactive stations.  Whether you are a die-hard fan or new to the series, there is something for everyone!

Join us on Wednesday, January 29th to celebrate National Bubble Wrap Day!

Children will have a chance to paint bubble wrap and make a print of their creation!

Swing by the South Rockwood Library to make these adorable pebble penguins. This project is for adults 18 years and older. This craft must be done here at the library. All supplies will be provided!

Come and try your hand at  watercolor painting. Very basic techniques, color mixing and exploring paper and brushes. 

Class will be hands on. Supplies provided for evening use.
