If you are a Senior and unable to come to the library because of special circumstances we will deliver library materials to your home. We deliver and pick up your returns once a month. 

Library staff will deliver books, movies, music CDs, audiobooks, and magazines.  ​Deliveries take place once a month. 

This week in Petersburg we are learning about the attribute of fun and the art skill of painting.  Please note that we are doing many artistic projects this summer and you should come dressed for mess!  

If you like to read thought-provoking non-fiction books, join us for Just the Facts book club on the last Wednesday of each month at 11:00 am.

Calling Bedford homeschool families! Come and join your library at the park this summer to meet new friends, hang out, play games, visit the Bookmobile, and more! Bring your lunch and get ready to have a FUNtastic summer!

This program is open to those 18 years of age and under at no cost.

Get ready for a summer full of fun, hands-on science! Each week, we’ll explore a new STEM topic inspired by books. This program is packed with curiosity, learning, and excitement from simple experiments to creative building challenges.

Looking for something new to do?

Join us on the 4th Wednesday of the month from 4pm – 6pm at the Vivian Branch Library.

We will explore your hidden talents with paint!

All supplies will be provided.

Join a book club for rebellious readers! We will discuss a different banned or challenged book each month. Readers ages 16 and up are welcome!

Meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month, 5:30-6:30pm

Come enjoy a night of fun and socialization.  We will be playing games like Farkel, Dominoes or Uno.  It will be games of your choosing.  Cards and cribbage boards will also be available.  Join us for some fun. 

It's Back!! 

Have a craft you need to finish but can't find the time to get it done? Bring it with you, sit by the fire with friends and make some time to be crafty. 

Baby Group is for children under 2 and an accompanying caregiver.  We'll have a short Storytime section with some music and books, we'll do some interactive or sensory activities, then have some open playtime for social interaction.

A kids cooking book club combines the joy of reading with the fun of cooking. It's a book club where kids explore cookbooks, discuss recipes, and even cook along with the recipes featured in their selected book.

Get your body movin', shake out your sillies and get loose at this dance program. We will be moving and grooving to fun songs. Bring your party fingers and get this dance party started!

Come cool down with the Library! 

Splash Pads, a sprinkler &  water play will be available to cool down!

Please bring a towel, sunscreen and a water bottle if needed. We will have a Splashin' good time!!

This Play Group is for Children from Birth to School Age with parents or caregivers accompanying. We will be spending time for everyone to interact through playing, sharing, climbing, caring and story reading!
