Summer Reading Book Club

Summer Baby Group is a Storytime for babies (under 2 years old) and their caregivers.  We'll have music, books, movement and sensory activities, as well as time to play and socialize with others.

Summer Adventure Book Club is for kids in grades K-5, and we meet each Thursday!

Toddler Outdoor Adventure is a fun and structured program for young children 18 months to a little over 3 years. This program encourages learning through play and enforces sharing, taking turns, following directions and making new friends.

Come shop a large selection of hardcover and paperback books, CDs, DVDs, books on CD, and puzzles! You can even purchase a tote bag commemorating our library system's 90th anniversary.

Stop in during the Community Days celebration to visit the Summerfield-Petersburg Friends of the Library booksale.  We have great material that need new homes.

This is a soft movement class designed for those who have wanted to try Tai Chi and those who understand the principle.  Each class will be divided into three parts including warm up, senior form, and yang form. This is a very beneficial

Come to the Dorsch Branch for some outside adventures. We will have some adventures with water, art and other activities. This programs allotted time will be for 45 minutes. Please bring a towel and sunscreen.

'Y' on the Fly brings the YMCA to the Library.

Come join us this summer for Tai Chi. We are not using a live instructor but are exercising with friends using a flash drive of our Fall thru Spring Tai Chi class. No registration required.

Stop by the Frenchtown Dixie branch to pick up a box of food for your children.

This program provides food for two meals per day for a week for all children under 18.

Join Miss. Kelli for six weeks of Tiny Yoga! There will be games and activities with playfulness in mind. We will combine yoga and play with fun functional movement, mindful movement, as well as "within" mind body work.

Outside literacy activities for preschoolers.

Be sure to bring a change of clothes.

There will be water, mud and dirt play taking place.

This is a partnership with the YMCA. YMCA comes out, and brings activities for kids to enjoy. Kids can participate in games such as soccer, dodge ball, baseball, kickball, tag, and more!
