During each session, children will experience a new technique to use paint to create their own unique art!

Bring your little ones to explore a variety of hands-on sensory activities that engage all five senses. 

We'll discover and explore literacy through textures, colors, sounds, books, and more in a fun, interactive environment.

SESSION #1

Paint a birdfeeder

Dive into the world of the Lorax at the Erie Library!  We’ll read the classic story, then the kids will get to draw and paint their own Lorax masterpiece in this fun and creative program. 

Join us at the library for a relaxing crochet and knitting club! Bring your current project, catch up with friends, and share tips and techniques. If you’re new to crochet, we’ll have supplies on hand and someone ready to help you get started.

Each month, we will provide supplies and instructions for you to make a craft here in the library.  Registration is required.

Have you ever been interested in creating an improv quilt but didn't know how to begin? Come and learn, using Karen Eckmeier's Rose Twirl method. This quilt measures 42" x 37".

Learn the ins and outs of Celtic Knot-work in honor of St. Patrick's Day!

Join us for some books about colors and complete some coloring crafts  (including coloring your own fridge magnet). 

STEM Station (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING & MATH) is a fun program that ties books and science together.  Listen to stories and then participate in fun, hands-on science and engineering activities. 

Ellis is the place to be for after-school fun!

Bring your projects such as knitting, cross-stitch, or crochet work and be a part of our group! Join us on the first and third Thursday of every month to share your projects and a "common thread" with others!

Bring your unfinished craft projects in to work on among friends.  Share your knowledge and learn something new. Coloring pages will be available for those who are in between projects. 

Spend an evening finishing those projects you have stored away for a later day. You can learn new things or just enjoy your project while chatting with others.

Come join us for Beginning watercolors - I am a self taught artist.  I will be sharing tips and techniques with you. We will learn something new and create our own watercolor piece.
